The protection of your personal data is important for ThPA. The Société Anonyme under the name Thessaloniki Port Authority (ThPA SA) that was established in 1999 (Law 2688/99, GG 40A’/1-3-99) with a view to managing and operating the port of Thessaloniki, collects and processes personal data about you, within the framework of the exercise of its competence and the fulfilment of its legal obligations. For the purposes of this Policy, ThPA will be referred to as “Processor” within the meaning of Art. 4, Art. 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The management and protection of the personal data of the visitors of the website www.thpa.gr is subject to these terms, and the relevant provisions of the European Regulation 2016/679, on the Personal Data Protection (GDPR). The present terms are drafted taking into account both the radical development of technology and, especially, Internet, and the existing regulatory package regarding these issues. If you contact ThPA online, we may occasionally use e-mail or postal address or telephone number to contact you regarding our services, provided that you have provided them to us voluntarily.
Please note that online communications such as emails etc. are not safe, unless they are encrypted.
ThPA does not bear any responsibility for any unauthorized access or loss of your personal data beyond its control.
Privacy policy and Children: This website has been designed and meant for use by adults. If you are an underage and parental consent is required in your country, you need to check the terms of this Privacy Policy together with your parent or your guardian to make sure that you understand and accept these terms. Once it has been established that we have collected information from an underage without the consent of his parent or guardian, while we should obtain such consent, we shall delete such data as soon as possible.

ThPA reserves the right to amend or review periodically this Policy in its sole discretion. In case of changes, ThPA will record the date of the modification or revision on this Policy and the updated Policy will apply for you as from this date onwards. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
For any dispute that may arise between a user and ThPA, the applicable law will be the Greek one and the competent courts for resolving the dispute are the competent courts of Thessaloniki.
